Of all the festivals that have cropped up across the U.S. and Europe over the last ten years, Aldridge has a special place in her heart for Coachella; after all, that's where she met her now husband, Kings of Leon frontman, Caleb Followill, in 2007. That the Victoria's Secret stunner is a KOL fan goes without saying, but she also has a soft spot for ZZ Top. Aldridge is "obsessed" with the seventies rock outfit, calling "Sharp Dressed Man" one of her favorite songs of all time. Also on heavy rotation: Prince, whom she first saw at age four when her parents took her to the Hollywood Bowl for a concert featuring the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Duran Duran, Madonna, and the "Purple Rain"-maker himself.

MUSICIAN
British singer-songwriter Jessie Ware's current playlist is a mix of vintage (Joni Mitchell and Marvin Gaye) and cutting edge (new albums from Rhye and Foals). Her concert-going experiences also happen to be a study in opposites: For her first, to see Kylie Minogue, Ware's mom bought her a new outfit and rented a stretch limo; years later at a recent Glastonbury festival, Ware camped with college friends in the rain and mud. But it was worth it, she says. "We managed to sneak backstage after The Gossip and meet Beth Ditto. She told her security to leave us alone and we all sang 'Umbrella' under an umbrella together."

HOOP DREAMS
It's rare to see Ware perform without a pair of statement earrings. Her festival staples? "Big gold hoops," like these from Wendy Nichol.

Wendy Nichol Gold Downward Spike Cone Hoop Earrings,

BABY SOFT
Between the blistering desert heat and the long bathroom lines, you never know when these will come in handy.

MODEL/DJ
Though she's walked plenty of runways (see Fall shows from Rodarte, Roksanda Ilincic, PPQ, and Nicole Miller), Nørgaard often takes her fashion inspiration from musicians: Alice Glass from Crystal Castles, Marilyn Manson, Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Keith Richards, and The Bloody Beetroots, just to name a few. Her current festival must-have is an actual ticket. "At Coachella three years ago, I tried to sneak in by jumping over a fence with my friends. We got busted and security put black Xs on our hands and told us we were banned. We washed it off and came back the next day with photocopies of a friend's ticket, and since there were problems with the scanners, we all got in!" she recalls.

SWEET SENSATION
"I love sugar, and when you start pulling [candy] out of your bag and sharing with people, an automatic smile arises. Who can deny a Blow Pop or Reese's while dancing to their favorite band?!"

Available at drugstores.

THE BLOW UP
"Bubbles make me so happy. They remind me of childhood, and childhood is freedom, which is one of the best feelings in the world."

Gymboree Mini Bubbles Oodles, $1.99,

I TURN MY CAMERA ON
"It's impossible to remember all of the moments from a festival, so it's nice to be able to look back and remember so much from one frame. I use disposables because they're always a surprise when you develop the film, unlike with an iPhone, so I feel like it's way more special and raw."

Kodak Fun Saver Single Use Camera, $17.95 for a pack of three

STYLIST
British stylist Cher Coulter knows festival style. A fixture at Coachella, she's largely responsible for the indelible effect boho fashion plates like Kate Bosworth, Nicole Richie, Elizabeth Olsen, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (with whom she's pictured above) have had on the annual music showcase over the years—which would make sense, since Coulter takes a lot of her cues from rock bands of the sixties: the Rolling Stones, the Beatles, the Who—because "they styled themselves and weren't afraid to mix tailoring with fur or other flamboyant prints," she says. A massive David Bowie fan, Coulter is eager to get to his retrospective currently on exhibit at the Victoria & Albert Museum. As for a modern musician she'd love to dress, it would need to be "someone who's willing to go super punk with their look—maybe Alison Mosshart from The Kills."

"This is brilliant for the sensitive skin on my face, and I can put my makeup on top of it."

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF 55, $35,

BASSIST FOR THE BAND HAIM
The eldest of three sisters who make up the acclaimed California outfit Haim, Este started going to concerts at age nine with her parents and sisters Danielle and Alana, and though they weren't seeing acts that might make other third graders jealous—John Fogerty and the Doobie Brothers were a few of the family's faves—it was the coolest "just because we were out on a school night," she says. At Coachella in 2007, Haim and some friends snuck onstage while the Arctic Monkeys played, and instead of getting in trouble, they got to bust a move next to Regina Spektor and Gogol Bordello. These days, the 27-year-old is listening to the new Kendrick Lamar and Bat for Lashes albums on repeat. "And there's always a healthy dose of Motown playing in my car," she confirms.

SMOOTH CRIMINAL
"This is the best and lightest-feeling sunblock I've found; it doesn't make me break out or feel greasy."

Peter Thomas Roth Uber-Dry Sunscreen SPF 30, $26

MODEL
As the daughter of Mick Jagger and Jerry Hall, Georgia May Jagger has been going to concerts since she was a baby. It wasn't all Rolling Stones, all the time, though. "Different kinds of music played a huge part of my childhood," Jagger insists. "I love the Ronettes because they remind me of when I was a kid, and I've always admired their style." These days, you're more likely to find the Just Cavalli brand ambassador listening to Azealia Banks, the Hives, the Pixies, and Turbogeist—the heavy-rock/punk band that counts both her boyfriend, Josh McLellan, and her brother, James Jagger, as members. There's nothing wrong with good old-fashioned loyalty.

MODEL/DJ
Though this DJ/model envies Patti Smith's personal style, her first concert was a tad more pop-y: When her father, British record executive and one-time head of Columbia Records, Ashley Newton, signed the Spice Girls, Harley happily went to see the fivesome. You'd be hard-pressed to hear any of the girl group's tracks when Viera-Newton spins at parties for brands like Chloé and superstars like Beyoncé these days, but music remains something of a family affair for the 25-year-old. One of her fondest festival memories is when she and her brother went to Glastonbury in 2009. "We accidentally bought a tent for about eight people. It took us close to two hours to actually get the massive thing up," she recalls. "But just as we finished, Neil Young came onstage and played the most amazing set—it was the perfect reward for our hard work."

DREAM CREAM
Dry desert wind and brutalizing sun are no match for a rich SPF moisturizer, like Erno Laszlo Hydraphel Day Cream.

Hydraphel Day Cream SPF 15 Ultra Rich Protective Moisturizer, $85,

SCARLET FEVER
It's rare to catch Viera-Newton without a red lip. For festivals, she prefers a sheer cherry tint, like CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in Scarlet Pucker.

CoverGirl Outlast Lipstain in Scarlet Pucker, $8.99

THIS BUD'S FOR YOU
"Heritage Rose Water spray is great for refreshing and cooling off."

Heritage Rose Petals Rosewater Atomizer, $9.09
JEWELRY DESIGNER
There's a reason Pamela Love's pieces often adorn the coolest festival-goers. "They're great layering pieces that go well with relaxed, casual clothing," the Manhattan jewelry designer surmises—and she would know. A longtime admirer of female rockers like Jennifer Herrema from Royal Trux and Florence Welch—"I love how daring she is!" Love says of Florence, she of the machine—she first got into musical festivals in middle school, stalking the band MxPx at the Vans Warped Tour every year. "I finally got to meet Mike, the singer, and I thought my life was complete!"

BIG DAY POUT
"This stuff is amazing, especially for dry weather!"

Lucas' Pawpaw Ointment, $12.99,

MODEL
Considering she was discovered at one in her native Belgium eight years ago, Hanne Gaby owes a lot to music festivals. "Music festival culture is huge all over Europe, so from a very young age my parents used to bring me along. I remember seeing Patti Smith while I sat on my dad's shoulders," she says. When it comes to the American festival circuit, Coachella—and Burning Man—are must stops for the blonde beauty who opened Hedi Slimane's Fall Saint Laurent show. "The desert turns into a real community for a week based on self-expression and self-reliance," she says of Burning Man. "[It's] a really cool, life-changing experience. I'm a true festival kid."

SCREEN QUEEN
"Clarins or Sisley sunscreen both smell fresh and seem to soak in so you don't get cake-y when dancing."

Clarins Sunscreen Care Cream SPF 30, $34, Sisley Sunleÿa Age Minimizing Sun Care SPF 50+, $295, available April 2013

MODEL/ACTRESS

Literature and acting may run in Dree Hemingway's blood, but Ernest Hemingway's great-granddaughter and Mariel Hemingway's daughter is a bit of a music fiend. The model and actress' first concert was a Pearl Jam show—"Dad and mom's influence," she admits—followed by Destiny's Child, her own pick. While she's been on something of a Sigur Rós, Journey, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and M.I.A. bender of late—"I love M.I.A.'s style. She's funky and knows how to do wild in a way that I think isn't begging for attention," Hemingway says—Bon Iver will always strike a chord. "Last year [at Coachella], I was coming through security check and heard [Bon Iver] go on and bolted. I lost my group and my boyfriend and just watched in complete awe. Then my favorite song came on and, out of nowhere, I felt my boyfriend's arms wrap around me. The fact that he found me in the deep crowd of people and during the chorus of my favorite song, may or may not have made me cry!"
